Sarah Vonthron-Laver

Sarah Vonthron-Laver is a professional illustrator, based in Bristol. She is also a social dancer of Argentine tango, a teacher, and organiser of tango dance events.

Here she captures perfectly the reality of social tango as it is danced by communities across the UK in village halls and similar venues. It is inspired by a tango tea dance Sarah visited in South London and some of the figures are real local dancers.
