Tim Cockburn is based in Fife and dances Argentine tango. His artwork usually depicts Scottish Country dance but he was taken by the folkloric nature of Argentine tango.
Many people perceive the dance of Argentine tango to be dramatic and flamboyant. Here Tim captures a couple at home in front of a roaring fire, the carpet rolled up to create a dance space.
