National Tango Gallery and Archive

​A collection of creative arts by UK residents, curated by the UK Argentine Tango
Association, to present works that reflect the culture of Argentine tango in the UK. It is
a free cultural offering to generate curiosity and engagement by the public, the media,
and others.

​Have you produced artwork inspired by Argentine tango? If so, we would love to
include it in our unique Virtual Art Gallery.
As an educational charity, we have criteria for inclusion. Your artwork must reference
Argentine tango, have the potential to generate public curiosity, and to educate the
public about tango culture.

If you want to prevent unauthorised copies of your work, you can provide UKATA with
a watermarked image for display. We can discuss what & how.

That’s ok, the gallery is to ensure your creative work is preserved and appreciated,
even if it is has been sold or you no longer produce such work.

It is promoted via:
• the UKATA website & social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube)
• social media channels of other groups (tango, other dance genres, the arts,
history, culture).
• UKATA’s connections with arts & cultural organisations, societies, and other
interest groups.
• public relations campaigns with appropriate radio and printed press press.
